In the gently flowing foothills of Yatsugatake Nanroku lies the beautiful town of Kobuchisawa. Surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains, it is not only abundant in natural woodlands, flora, and fauna, but with its rich natural spring water supplies, it is also called the “Town of Crystal Streams.” It has been a center of human activity since the Jomon period where countless people have lived in harmony with nature, also making it an historical locale.

In May 1998, Arsoa moved its head office to these beautiful surroundings abundant with natural energy. The new head office was built with great cohesion and cultural integrity. In the construction of our new office building, shaped like the wings of a bird, we employed two important concepts. One was to live in harmony with nature and utilize the energy of “water.” The other was to create a space that was functional while also catering to the needs of the human “spirit.” The person who gave fruition to these ideas was world famous Italian architect Mario Bellini. At our new head office, everybody who visits can experience the authentic Arsoa culture.
